FORMS

Forms explores the human figure through a range of approaches, reflecting an ongoing interest in how the body can be represented, distorted, and understood. Rather than working within a single style, the series moves between different visual languages, allowing each piece to stand on its own terms.

Some works draw on Cubist influences, fragmenting and reassembling the figure through shifting perspectives and simplified shapes. Others take a more graphic or illustrative approach, experimenting with line, bold composition, and clarity of form. Alongside this, the artist continues to produce works rooted in a consistent practice of black and white charcoal and pencil, building depth through tonal contrast and mark-making.

Across the series, the human form becomes a site of exploration rather than definition. Forms reflects a process of testing, refining, and rethinking — allowing different styles to emerge while remaining connected through a shared interest in the body and its possibilities.
