UTOPIAS
Utopias explores the idea of an imagined place of peace, shaped through landscape and solitude. Often featuring a solitary figure, these works present vast, open environments where stillness replaces the noise and intensity of urban life.
In contrast to the harsher cityscapes the artist has experienced, these landscapes offer a sense of escape — spaces that feel calm, expansive, and quietly restorative.
Rather than depicting real locations, these scenes are imagined. They are constructed from a desire to find somewhere else: somewhere softer, slower, and more forgiving.
The presence of a lone figure within these environments reflects both isolation and comfort, suggesting that solitude can be a space of healing rather than absence.
These works are not about perfection, but about possibility — a personal vision of utopia grounded in peace, reflection, and the emotional pull of a place the artist longs to be.
